The world is set up like a metroidvania but in first-person, so the more abilities you pick up, the more the place opens up. Every rock, wall, or stairwell is there for a reason. No filler, no invisible barriers pretending you can’t go somewhere. If you can see it, chances are you can find a way to use it.

What makes it interesting is how unpredictable it gets. Sometimes you’re untangling tricky environmental puzzles, and then suddenly you’re in the middle of a murder case, piecing together who did what. The game doesn’t feed you answers—you’ve got to actually think like a detective, and your choices stick.

Most of the time you’ll be exploring, poking into corners, finding shortcuts you probably weren’t supposed to, or stumbling into hidden areas with their own surprises. Fights exist, but they’re rare and usually just puzzles dressed up as combat.
