About the Game

Star Explorer: Beyond the Horizon is an indie game that allows you to become a solitary explorer in search of a new home of man on a galaxy full of mystery and danger. When you have no one to depend on but your instincts and a hi-tech starship you will find yourself having to learn how to survive, adapt and thrive in your trip to the unknown galaxies.

Dynamic Exploration: Explore a procedurally generated universe that will guarantee a unique experience with each journey. There is never a same planet and you will always be faced with new challenges.

Ship Customization: Customize and upgrade your starship including new engines, weapons and exploration equipment. Make the ideal ship of your quest.

Alien Encounters: Find new alien race, make alliances or wage war. Your behavior with the inhabitants in the galaxy will influence the story and your survival.

Resource Management: Gather resources, fuel your ship, and maintain it in perfect condition as you travel further and further into space.

Storyline

The planet is on its deathbed, and the mankind is desperately seeking a new place to live. Being one of the few Star Explorers left, you are supposed to do something that appears to be impossible, finding a habitable planet that might support the human life. You went in to a risky venture driven by the hope of a better future of your people.

You will be traveling through the stars, coming across old ruins, old technologies, and mystical alien races that will have the secrets of survival of human race. This trip will not only challenge your ability to be a good navigator but also your moral compass as you discover the truth behind the reason why the galaxy has been left as desolate as it is. Is it possible to find secrets of yesterday and guarantee tomorrow of mankind?

The stars are waiting. It is up to you to determine the future of humanity.
