The dense jungle pulsed with life, the hum of insects and distant cries of unseen creatures blending into an eerie symphony. Sergeant Carter wiped the sweat from his brow, gripping his rifle tightly. His Fireteam moved in formation, scanning the dense undergrowth for signs of enemy activity. Their mission was simple—retrieve classified intel from a guerrilla outpost and extract before reinforcements arrived.

But something felt… wrong.

A sudden rustling in the trees made Carter halt. He signaled for silence, his heart pounding in his chest. The jungle was never truly quiet, but now an unsettling stillness filled the air. Then he heard it—an ominous clicking sound, almost mechanical, echoing from the canopy above.

“Eyes up,” whispered Rodriguez, his finger resting on the trigger.

A shimmer in the trees caught Carter’s eye, a distortion in the air that moved with inhuman speed. Then, in an instant, a blur of motion descended upon them.

Rodriguez screamed as a razor-sharp wrist blade pierced his shoulder, lifting him off the ground before he was hurled into the underbrush like a ragdoll. Blood splattered the ferns as Carter fired blindly into the trees, his pulse hammering against his skull.

Through the dense foliage, two glowing red eyes locked onto him. The Predator uncloaked, revealing its towering, armored form. Plasma caster humming, it let out a guttural roar—a declaration of the hunt.

Carter knew one thing: they were no longer the predators.

They were the prey.
