The World of Project Pastorate

On December 31, 999 AD, as the last Mass was held and the bells tolled Judgment Day, the world ended—exactly as foretold. Only a fortunate few survived, retreating to an isolated island where they rebuilt civilization under the leadership of the first Pastor.
