Ksözcü is a story-driven action-adventure RPG in which the power of speech turns the earth and silence brings ruin. Players take on the role of Ksözcü, The Last Guardian of the Holy Book, who must fight living shadows, rebuild lost languages and repair defiled realms before breaking becomes normality.Backed by fast-paced fights, puzzle-solving based on words and exploration, the game plunges the player into a game world unlike any before. At every new ability learned by players, strength is added to the Guardian–but, at the same time, he must give up part of his past. This is more than just a war with darkness, it is to keep reality from disintegrating itself.

Ksözcü: The Guardian of Shadow is a dark fantasy action-adventure game. Players use word-powers to fight shadow creatures, break ancient seals, and regain lost knowledge. Discover corrupt cities, forbidden archives, and shadow worlds while solving runic puzzles and mastering living words. Features include everyday combat, word-techniques and decisions, boss guardians and puzzles obstructing movement through the world.
The Shadow will learn to speak and only the keeper himself has the answers.
Story — Character & Struggle
Before matter had form, reality was written in words. Mountains stood because they were named. Memories lived because they were spoken. Meaning itself was protected by the Sacred Lexicon guarded by an ancient order known as the Speakers.
Ksözcü was the youngest of these Guardians not famous, not powerful, not celebrated. While others mastered dominant command-words and battle phrases, Ksözcü studied broken scripts, forgotten dialects, and silent structures between symbols. He believed meaning lived not only in what is spoken but in what is almost lost.
The Shadow King shattered the Lexicon Core, corrupting the language that held reality together. Words lost stability. Names failed. Cities disappeared when their true names dissolved. Creatures twisted into shadow forms when their defining words were corrupted. The Order of Speakers was destroyed in a single night. Ksözcü survived by accident studying in the Outer Archives among damaged words no one valued. When he returned, the order was gone. The world had entered the Age of Silence.
Now he carries the Final Word Seal a living fragment of the Lexicon Core bound into his soul. It grants him power to restore and command words but every use erases part of his memory. He cannot stop it.
